Thanks Danny and RC4!

RC4, i thought the answer to the simulation #3 with the ping was SMURF ATTACK as what others a while back said was the answer. Was it the same illustration as in Exam C of this dump, in group 10 I believe? The one question with network diagram and the one that someone fixed in another "anontester" dump?

100% valid as of today. Took yesterday in USA. 91 quaestion with 3 simulations. SIM1 - 5 types of attack being described and you have to select the type of attack from a drop down list. Each attack can be used only once and the list gets updated as you use them. There is a SPAM (advertisements via email), a VISHING (credit card info being gathered by phone), SPOFFING using social media and 2 others I don't remember.
SIM 2 - wireless confoguration, just like already described here. Has to disable the SSID broadcast, change CompTIA security++ Certification Exam to WPA2 PSK AES because there is no RADIUS por ENT, change the 'DEFAULT' network name to any other.
SIM 3 - a video showing a network diagram with servers and a bunch of pings taking one of the servers down. Need to identify the type of attack - Ping of Death is the answer.
ALL OTHERS 88 questions from here, no exceptions. THANKS ANON!!!

Christina good luck on your exam, its good to study more than dumps because you just never know when the questions will change and you will also know your stuff I am actually taking a course in school geared towards the CompTIA security++ Certification Exam+ also. I was lucky enough to find an 80% off coupon code from CompTIA that I used to purchase the exam, it was $66 instead of $284. I don't think that code is available since these things are very limited and first come first serve but you can always google search coupon codes for any exam sometimes you might get lucky.

Thanks again for the detailed info Danny! I have been studying the simulation exercises on David Prowse Authorized Cert Guide CompTIA security++ Certification Exam+ book and Lab Sim hands-on exercises. I also studied Darril Gibson's book (older version - SY0-201). I feel like I might take the plunge early and take it this weekend or early next week. Prowse book has about 800+ practice exam questions and I'm not even halfway yet. I will study this dump too. Thanks again.

Christina, regarding the WAP simulation, the 4 servers were LDAP, Wireless, AAA Server, DHCP Server, they all contained ip addresses, passphrases, etc. basically you have to look at each server settings then backtrack and fill them in the WAP. I know WPA2 ENT AES would be the logical answer however, there wasn't a RADIUS server in the picture..so I did the highest I could without a RADIUS server which was WPA2 PSK AES, I don't know if it was right or not but I think there are more than 3 sims in the question bank so you may get a different trio, I just studied this dump this is all you need and yes you can flag the questions and go back to them later in the exam

So, can you do the simulations at the end and just flag them for later answering?

The 4 server configuration, what do you mean by you have to take the info of them 4 and configure? you have to configure each server? If there was a selection for WPA2- ENT as opposed to WPA-PSK then that probably would be the correct one, but that (WPA2-ENT) requires RADIUS for authentication.

so, this dump is sufficient then? did you just study this dump or ID1OT and Xig as well?

I am back to report like I said I would and I scored a 900/900! Every single question was from this dump. Word for word and the answers were in the exact same places. I was shocked. I found myself going too fast so I slowed down and then it allowed you to go over your questions so I did. The first 3 questions are simulations, The ones I got were 1. You are given situations with pictures and there is a drop down to select which one it is, for example: vishing, spam, phishing, etc. pretty simple if you study a more than this dump (although i'm not sure if these simulations count towards the final grade) 2. The second was a video of a network diagram being attacked, you have to select what it is (1), they give a lot of options a through j, ie smurf attack, man in the middle, etc. 3. The third sim was configuring a WAP to the highest CompTIA security++ Certification Exam level, (which I thought was most difficult) you are given 4 servers and you have to take the info from all 4 and configure the WAP i chose WPA2 Personal, etc. because there was no radius server I am not too sure I was right though, hope this helps.

For those of you that plan on taking the JK0-018 version this dump is NOT valid. I took the JK0 version a couple weeks ago and studied for a while before taking this dump. I had about 5 questions from this dump on the actual exam. I still passed but do not study the dump only. It's a good study guide to prepare you for the questions though.

Just got back from the testing center and got a 900. Exactly like the test expect for one problem was slightly different. It was about ALE and it cost $XXX/hour and expect 2 day of downtime. In the practice it included a probability of 5% downtime but in the exam it did not include the probability. So it was just $XXX x 48hrs. Guessing a lot of people didn't multiple by the percentage to get the correct ALE and got it wrong so they made it simpler. Guess you can be great at IT but not so good at math. Also the 3 sim questions I got were about putting memory in order from most volatile to least volatile. Determining if it is "something you know", "something you have" or "something you are", and last configure a firewall based on a map of ip address and the type of traffic to allow or permit as well as know the port. I dont think the sim questions are graded because I put a SCP port 22 as allow both TCP and UDP when it should just be TCP.

@ Nader The reason why the SIMS are not there is due to the fact that, they are not highly marked and secondly if you do your revision properly then the sims are very easy to do. mostly about ports and the OSI layer. Cheers

Thanks MJ1987 however your link is dated 7.31.2014, the one I have is from last month, probably better to stay current. Also, the 7.31.12 has 532 questions, I was looking for something smaller since many are completeing the exam quickly were the order is the same, I can't do that with the total at 532.

My sim questions were configuring a WAP, and a page with scenarios and drop downs of various types of social engineering/SPAM type attacks like Vishing, Phising, SPAM, SPIM, etc.

The updated file fixed the sim and other glitches from this exam.

@Sec+ student Will you pass the test using the dump? YES as others have confirmed that the dumps still work. Will you get the job and be able to keep it if you dont prepare for it and just go and give the exam? Probably NOT. One of the suggested learning is that the person interested in taking CompTIA security++ Certification Exam+ should be Network+ certified as well. Are you? Do you need to do to study Xig dumps as well? The general consensus is NO, just AnonTester's will suffice.

I took this test today 820/900. I used AnonTester questions as a guide, as well as Darril Gibson Book and practice tests. While there were many of Anon's questions on the test, Maybe 1/2. Better know your stuff. No performance based questions or simulations or drag and drops. 100% multiple choice. Good Luck to everyone.
