Valid dump - passed easily today. I had 5 simulations and 70 questions, 65 of which were on this dump. Study this dump and the slides listed for the simulations in one of the previous dump comments and you'll be good (unless they change up the test again). Of course it helps to understand the concepts - not just memorize the answers to the questions - so use common sense and you'll be alright. Thanks, zico!

I've been reviewing this dump for the past week and I have no problem answering every question correctly when doing the practice tests. Also, I have read Darrell Gibson's CompTIA Advanced casp Practitioner+ book and watched almost all of Professor Messer's videos. I have studied the sim questions posted here as well, but I am a bit nervous about the firewall config and log review sims.

I feel that I know the material, but I'm still nervous about the exam. Someone reassure me that I should do fine! lol

So I took the test on yesterday, and passed 759/750. Yea I just passed, but I passed none the less. Now I didn't study Zico's dump as much as I studied Anon's dump. I kinda wish I did thou. Both their dumps have questions that are on the test. But the SIMS thou...those are different animals. If you don't know the "terminology" then you'll prolly fail. The test itself was hard, but with some studying you should pass. I do suggest to study both this dump and Anon's dump..and you should have success.

Just took the test and passed 830 purely because of this dump. I think out of the 75 questions I had, at least 68 were near identical!! Maybe I got lucky! This was on point!!! the simulations were about 7 of them right at the start, you have to set up CompTIA Advanced casp Practitioner in a data lab, unlcassified lab and managers office. I passed with 785, this was amazing use professor messer as well it will be great. Oh I passed :D

Took the test today and passed with an 810/900. I have two suggestions for people who are studying for the exam:

1) Study these dumps because out of the 297 questions in the dumps, I saw about half of them on my exam.

2) I used Darrill Gibson CompTIA Advanced casp Practitioner + study guide along with these dumps and you can change the website name to pass4sure.

3) 7 performance-based questions (My first 7 questions on my exam) -

Basically they have a network map of a network - Client computer group by department - a couple of network devices - switches, IPS, Firewall.

1 sim questions will basically tell you apply rules to a firewall (ie setting destination IP, source IP, port, protocol tcp/udp, and either allow or deny the traffic) <-------Google configuring firewall rules.
2 sim question will be about something you are, something you have, and something you know. chapter 1 in the study guide btw.
2 sim questions give you a diagram/horrible box diagrams of network attacks. Pick the right attack in the drop-down label.
1 sim questions will ask you to drag and drop CompTIA Advanced casp Practitioner parameters (mantrap, CCTV, proximity cards, safe etc.), into a another horribly done diagram.
1 sim you will need to know how to read captured packet information.. AND which device is letting through traffic that it shouldn't be. <---- Again, Google is your friend.

2 Ways to study with study guide

1) Read through 1 chapter a day for 11 days. Use 2 days to study for these dumps = you're certified.

2) Be lazy but still buy the study guide and just ready the Grey summarized sections in each chapter. Study dump for 2 days and research what you don't know in the dumps.. win

There is no real indication if the simulators are actually scored. Although, there is a statement at the beginning of the test that not questions will be scored.

I do believe that some if not all simulators are scored because one of the simulations required population of a table with source/destination IP addresses and port details. I was very confident that I answered this questions correctly but the instructions stated that protocol settings should be set to ANY. In retrospect I should had been specific and selected TCP/UDP as needed but I selected ANY on all of them.

My test result indicated I got at least one question regarding ports wrong so I'm assuming the one I got wrong was this simulation. As I feel very confident with my understanding of ports and protocols.

I would work on the assumption that all the simulators are scored.

I failed today with a score of 701. The simulations was not easy. You need to have experience in reading log files and configuring firewalls. I had 7, and I am certain I've solved two of them. I had many Questions there was not in this dump. Good luck guys.

@Binoy what I did was I went through the exam questions. The ones I got wrong I earmarked and researched the subject on the internet. I waited at least 24 hours and went back and retook the exam from scratch. I went through probably 1000 questions and started out knowing 50% of them. It took me about two weeks and the test was very easy for me. I felt more than adequately prepared. I also took some other sample test on the internet and applied the same methodology. Learning the concepts is the most important aspect to passing the exam.

If you look at that exam number, it is for the 101 as opposed to the current exam which is the 301. This would explain the differenece in exam questions. As to whether any previous version exam questions get recycled - I personnaly have no idea.. I am trying to prep for Sec+ and am as worried about question wording as anyone..

Took the exam today 26Aug2014 and passed 827/900 dump was valid had about 50 out of 70 questions on it and I don't believe the sims matter. at the beginning of the test they say certain questions don't count towards the overall score. 5 sims that are posted on anons dump. Hope this helps..I would def study tho as a failsafe cause some dumps help some don't its a crap shoot for you particular exam.

Took exam today 8/23/13. Currently I believe the sims on the Anon dump page were correct although I think for me there was 5 sims (3 were from that sim page). There were questions from this dump and others. I will say about 20-30 also. So it helped a little. Your best option to study will be to do Professor Messer | Books such as Exam Cram SY301 and CompTIA CompTIA Advanced casp Practitioner Plus Authorized Certguide.

The practice questions do help to test your knowledge and I believe with using the exams to practice the books and a video to explain concepts I was able to pass this exam with 820/900. Hopefully this will help people in the future who need to study this for their IT career.

Took the test 8/15 --- looked over this test, didn't see any questions from the test. That said, if you know the answers to these questions and you understand why the answers are correct you will pass. They can only ask so many questions, in so many different ways.

@jlee By "bad" I did not mean "incorrect" or "wrong" but that the graph is sized incorrectly. It appears enormous on my vce and it takes a while for the program to read it. I cant see it because it doesn't let me resize it, but I have memorized the answer to it anyway. As I've said, it's Exam B, Q93. Just a heads up. Other than that, it's a flawless dump. I studied just this and nothing else for two days, took test and passed with 886. Questions were identical and answers were in EXACT same location.
@thomas it would help to know exactly what is wrong with the question you are stating so everyone else would know what you are referring to. However, I looked up Q93, which is on Exam C not B and it is correct. Please do not say something is wrong unless you have proof of some sort with correct answer.

I just took this today, I scored a 896/900. I used just this dump. I went over each test twice, then did a few random 50 questions tests including all the questions. Every single question on the test was word for word, the answers were also word for word. The answers were also in order. The 3 performance questions I had were: 1. ports. SNMP 161, SMTP 25, SCP 22, FTP 21, TFTP 69, and like 1 more i can't remember. 2nd one was mobile device and terminal . you had to drag and drop CompTIA Advanced casp Practitioner items for them, they could be used twice. examples were: screen lock, gps tracking, etc. and the last performance was you had to look at 4-5 logs and see which one had recorded info the best. I hope this helped someone, big thanks for posting this dump!

Ok ok to settle all the bickering I did a 2 week cram on cuz and idiot vce which are valid but hands down word for word I studied annon's and this one was word for word!!! I had 3 questions.. 1 was configure the wap to make it secure, 2nd was correctly identify what type of intrusion, 3rd I can't recall.. Many people say, this dump is valid... BUT.. you got what you deserve .. to pass exams, need study . read book, do the labs. dumps only prepare you for type of questions in exam, some times they are very similar like in exam.
Just advice, - read book, do the labs, and exercise with questions in this dump. If I would relay only on this dump, i would fail todays exam. Good that I was reading book, and did labs.

Ok, I just took the ISC2 CAP after studying the pass4sure test engine...Failed miserably! The questions from the test engine were nothing like the actual test and the content wasn't even close. Now I'm a little gun shy about these test engines and I am wanting to take the CAS-001 within the next month or two. How good is this VCE? Worth using? Thanks in advance for the help.

CAS-001 and JK0-018 are two different tests. One is for students (JK0-018) and the other is for professionals (CAS-001). There are some questions that will be from this test but I've noticed on the JK0-018 they are worded completely different. I would not study this one if you are taking JK0-018.
This is for the CAS-001 test and is 100% valid.

Sorry guys about the exhibit. I didn't realize it blew the picture out of proportion but the answer is smurfing. It's a DoS attack and shows an image of numerous hosts/locations pinging one location. Image is similar to this: http://www.cisco.com/image/gif/paws/13634/ddos.jpg

On the actual test it will show you that similar picture but in animation. You'll know it's a "smurf attack" aka DoS.

Took test on 1/26 and passed with 88x. This dump is 100% valid. Every questions was from this dump, Xig, and Alejandro dump..as these three dumps are same. There were 3 simulation questions. First one was the authentication factors (something you are, have, & know). Second was Volatility (From least Volatility - Most Volatility). Third was Firewall ACL (know your ports well and subnetting). It was all 90 questions in 90 mins. Good luck to those yet to take the exam.

The first 3 questions today were simulations: firewall config, authentication factors, and volatility scale.
The firewall item was NOT very well made - the ip address drop downs were long. You gotta know ip subnets and ports.
Do not waste much time on these as you can go back for them (unlike cisco exams). Scored upper 800s by knowing stuff.
XIG, Idiots, and Anontester dumps are still on-the-money. Thanks for sharing, you guys.

This dump is valid, took test today scored 891. i had 3 performance questions pretty sure that i missed 2/3. first performance question was setting up exemptions in a firewall. 2nd had to do with "chain of custody". 3rd was easy had to do with authentication "something you are" something you have" something you know". i watched professor messer and studied these q's + some other dumps on this site, but this one is the most valid.
